Government Agency Portals
The big inventoryThese agencies own foreclosed homes directly and list them publicly with photos. Owner-occupants usually get a “First Look” window to bid before investors.
Fannie Mae HomePath
Fannie Mae’s official REO storefront. Search by state, price, beds, and property type with photos and special financing options.
Freddie Mac HomeSteps
Homes owned by Freddie Mac, generally in better condition than typical distressed properties. Works with FHA, conventional, VA, or USDA financing.
HUD Home Store
FHA-foreclosed homes sold as-is. Includes the Good Neighbor Next Door program — 50% off list for teachers, police, firefighters, and EMTs in eligible areas.
VA Foreclosures (VRM)
Department of Veterans Affairs REO properties, marketed through its vendor VRM Properties. Open to any buyer, not just veterans.
USDA Rural Development
Repossessed rural and single-family homes from USDA Rural Development, browsable by state. Sparser inventory but real bargains in eligible areas.
FDIC Owned Assets
Real estate and assets the FDIC holds from failed banks. Mostly commercial and land, occasionally residential — worth a periodic check.
Direct Bank & Servicer Sites
Source listingsLenders publish REO they took back after foreclosure. Inventory is thinner than the post-2008 era and most listings still route to an assigned MLS agent — but these are the official portals. Several Southeast servicers below have meaningful Florida footprints.
Bank of America
Bank of America’s Real Estate Center with a dedicated Florida page. View REO and bank-owned listings plus financing tools.
Wells Fargo REO
Wells Fargo’s free REO search by location, price, and property features (beds, baths, size). One of the larger servicer inventories.
U.S. Bank
U.S. Bank’s official bank-owned residential real estate portal, searchable by state. Contact is through each property’s assigned listing agent.
Regions Bank
Regions is a major Southeast lender with a deep Florida presence. Its portal lists bank-owned residential, commercial, and lot/land properties.
Truist
Truist (formerly BB&T and SunTrust) carries the old SunTrust Florida footprint. Residential and commercial REO listed with each property’s agent.
PennyMac
PennyMac-owned REO searchable by price range, location, and property type. One of the largest non-bank servicers nationwide.
Fifth Third Bank
Fifth Third’s bank-owned residential listings (commercial on a separate site). Active across the Midwest and Southeast, including Florida.
M&T Bank
Nationwide bank-owned listings with email alerts and a free buyer profile. Shows available, coming-soon, and auction-bound properties.
Chase & Citi
Two of the largest servicers, but they route nearly all REO through assigned listing agents and the MLS rather than a public browse page. Easiest to surface via the aggregators.
PNC Bank
PNC Realty Services publishes a bank-owned catalogue (heavier on commercial and former branches). Residential REO mostly lists with MLS agents.
Third Federal S&L
Sortable bank-owned (REO) list with photos and the listing Realtor for each property. Smaller footprint but a clean direct portal.
RES.NET hub & local FL banks
Many servicers (PennyMac, Fifth Third, Carrington and others) post REO on the shared RES.NET platform. Also check Florida regionals — Valley, Seacoast, Centennial — and local credit unions, which often list REO directly and competitively.
Large Servicers — No Public Portal
Find them via auction/MLSThese big mortgage servicers hold plenty of Florida REO but don’t run a consumer “browse our homes” site anymore. Their foreclosed homes are disposed through the auction marketplaces and the MLS — so you find them on the platforms in the next section, not on the servicer’s own page.
Mr. Cooper / Nationstar
One of the largest U.S. servicers. REO historically ran through Xome (its former affiliate) and now surfaces on Xome, Auction.com, and the MLS.
PHH / Ocwen
PHH (which absorbed Ocwen) disposes REO largely through Hubzu (Altisource) and Auction.com.
Carrington Mortgage
Carrington posts REO on the shared RES.NET platform and through the major auction sites.
Shellpoint / NewRez
NewRez (d/b/a Shellpoint) sells foreclosed homes via auction platforms and county foreclosure sales rather than a public listings page.
Flagstar Bank
Flagstar holds REO in several states with the listing agent named per property; inventory mainly surfaces on the MLS and aggregators.
SPS / SLS / Rushmore / Freedom / Fay / Cenlar
Select Portfolio Servicing, Specialized Loan Servicing, Rushmore, Freedom Mortgage, Fay Servicing, Cenlar and similar shops have no public browse portal — their REO appears on the auction marketplaces and MLS.
Aggregators
Deepest live FL inventoryThese pull REO and foreclosure listings from many banks and the MLS at once — usually the fastest way to see the most actual Florida homes in one place.
Auction.com
Foreclosure and bank-owned listings statewide, including live auctions. Florida bank-owned view linked directly.
RealtyTrac
Bank-owned, pre-foreclosure, and auction listings searchable by county and ZIP. Strong for drilling into specific Florida markets.
Redfin
MLS-fed foreclosure listings — roughly 1,800 active in Florida and refreshed every 15 minutes. Tour and offer through Redfin agents.
Zillow
Bank-owned and foreclosure filter pulling straight from the MLS — where most bank REO actually lands today.
Homes.com
Florida foreclosure listings including Fannie Mae HomePath properties, with photos and full property detail.
Foreclosure.com
Subscription database focused purely on distressed and bank-owned inventory, including pre-foreclosures and tax liens. Free trial available.
Hubzu
Online auction marketplace that handles REO and foreclosure inventory for several servicers. Register to bid; search by state.
Xome
REO and foreclosure auction platform with bank-owned listings nationwide, filterable to Florida. Register to bid.
RealtyBid
Online REO and foreclosure auction platform used by several servicers and lenders. Search by state, register to bid.
Realtor.com
Pulls from the broadest set of MLSs, so bank REO listed by an agent shows here. Filter to foreclosures statewide — a good catch-all alongside Zillow/Redfin.
