Founded in 1978, Country Walk is a census-designated area that is situated in the south western part of Miami-Dade County, Florida. The census area was originally built by a Disney owned corporation named Arvida, which began construction of the area in 1978 and finalized it by 1994. The census area is among the regions that were impacted by Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Over 90% of residential areas within the community were severely destroyed, thus bearing catastrophic effects in the area.

Today, Country Walk has gradually emerged as a developing community that has earned a reputation of being a preferred place to reside in Southern Florida. According to the U.S Census Bureau, a total number of 10,653 residents live in the community, while the census area covers a total area of 7.1 square kilometers.
