A census-designated place (CDP) situated in Lee County, Lehigh Acres is a settlement and an unincorporated area in Florida that was settled in 1954. Dating back to the mid-1950s, Lehigh Acres was developed by a businessman in Chicago named Lee Ratner, who purchased land in the area and named it the Lucky Lee Ranch.

Lehigh Acres eventually developed from the Lucky Lee Ranch into a CDP in the following years. As of now, the total area of Lehigh Acres is 37.06 square miles at an elevation of 20 feet, and the total population of the CDP was recorded at 86,784 people in 2010.
